My cousin is having a baby girl so I wanted to make her mittens for her baby so her baby doesn’t scratch her face. These were a life saver with my babies and they are so easy to make. Make them for a boy or girl!

Abbreviations: dc=double crochet

sc=single crochet

sl st=slip stitch ch=chain

    Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing the pattern for the baby scratch mittens. Just finished what I’m sure will be just the first of many pairs. They will go nicely with the bunting/papoose made for a gift. I thought I would point out that Round 2 of the pattern should read ” 2 half double crochet in each stitch around”…not 10 in each stitch. I knew what you meant : )

    Keep up the great work and thanks again.
