Crochet 0-3 Month old Dress

Crochet 0-3 Month Old Dress

dress

 I love how babies look when they wear homemade dresses. I was inspired to make this dress when my daughter was a baby. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. This pattern is probably one of my favorites!

Abbreviations:

dc=double crochet

sc=single crochet

sl st=slip stitch

ch=chain

 If you tell others about my work, please only link back to my blog, but don’t copy my patterns to your site. Also you can sell anything you make from my patterns, but don’t sell the free pattern. Thank you!
Supplies:

Caron soft Pink and Cream yarn, 1 1/2 skeins of Pink and less than 1/2 of white or any 4 ply yarn would work, I found the soft yarn is nice, but can be heavy.

    Absolutely adorable. I can’t wait to make this cute dress for a new grand daughter. Thank you.

  2. Diana says:

    Just finished this in main color white contrast baby blue-so cute-thanks for sharing this pattern

  3. Lisa says:

    I’m making this in a variegated blue/green/white as the main colour and white as the accent colour. I can’t wait to get this on my little Lily. It’s gorgeous and still only partially finished. Thank you for this great simple pattern.

  4. Heidi Higginbotham says:

    Do you a gauge to Use? If u still have the dress would u mind measuring about two inches of the part with the H hook? Much appreciated. Precious dress!

  5. Arandbee says:

    I love the dress! Can you please tell me if you know how I could make it in a size 2, 3 or 4 for an older child?

  6. amray2007 says:

    thanks, however I dont have the measurements for a bigger size. I would take a dress that is that size and figure out the measurements and follow the pattern that way, otherwise I dont have the pattern, sorry

  7. Kristin says:

    Help! I can’t seem to get past row 2. When I get to the end of row 2, I have 30 total stitches before I’ve done the last 2dctog decrease but I still have 1 stitch left. What am I doing wrong??

  8. Kristin says:

    Okay, I tried this with the readjusted count. Now when I get to the end of row 2 there are no stitches left to do the 2dctog decrease. In order to do the first 2dctog decrease twice and the last 2dctog decrease twice, I can only dc 25 across ending with a total of 29 stitches. Am I missing something? I’m somewhat new to crochet and not always the best at reading patterns. :\
    Thanks in advance!

  9. amray2007 says:

    I redid the count again, I didnt realize I had twice in the decrease, I havent done this pattern in awhile, lol.

  10. Kristin says:

    Okay, thanks! I’ll try it again. lol
    And thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate it! :)

  11. Kristin says:

    Sorry to bother you again.. On row 6 when I get to the end, I don’t have a stitch left to leave unworked?

  12. amray2007 says:

    I noticed the there is no stitch left either after I counted back now, so ignore that unworked part and see if that works, sorry about that, I did this dress awhile ago and looks like I made some mistakes on writing the pattern.

  13. kerry adams says:

    I don’t understand the instructions for the Rose, it is just 2 rows – how do you make it into a circular Rose? Pattern doesn’t say. Help please.
