You state you used Red Heart Yarn. Which type of Red Heart Yarn? They make a variety of yarns.

You give no gauge other than dimensions are 6 in x 6 in. Is this the big circle 6 inches in diameter? Or does this include the “ears”?

    Thank you.

Thanks for pattern! Just finished making it and it’s so darling. I planned it for a 4.5 yr old girl but wonder what age girl you had made it for? Is this the right age for this and it will be be a good size for a little girl who wears a size 5? She spits out of state so I can’t try it to see for myself; thx!!!

What’s up with the “magic circle” thing??? I’ve noticed online patterns are starting like this but none of my crochet books mention this. My mum has been crocheting for years and she has never heard of it. I play around with it until I get the right amount of chain stitch and do a slip stitch to form my circle. Just wondering out loud… I have a 2 year old niece who is obsessed with Minnie mouse. As soon as I’m done the “very Hungry caterpillar baby bunting and hat I will attempt this and may have done by Christmas… lol

I am having a problem attaching the ears, I didn’t quite understand the directions. The directions mentions 9 dc apart with black yarn….. where am I doing this at? How should I actually attach the ears to the base? Thank You, and I was excited about trying this pattern, it was not difficult at all, its just I’m having problems assembling the ears……..

Im going to make a video on this soon. But go to your big circle and slip stitch your yarn into the big circle, then attach one of your ears by sewing into your ear with the yarn, then count 9 dc across ramdomly from the ear, then attach the next ear, just so its about 9 dc or so apart, so thats the opening of your purse like in the picture.
