Red Heart Red, Black, and White yarn
Caron Soft Green yarn
yarn needle
Dimensions: about 3.75 in X 3.75 in
sl st=slip stitch
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
hdc=half double crochet
Rnd 1: Start with Red yarn, Work 10 dc in the Magic Circle, sl st
This Video is for 11 dc in the Magic Circle, but only do 10 dc in the Magic Circle.

Rnd 2: Ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the same stitch, work 2 dc in each dc around, sl st on top of the Chain 3. -20 dc
Rnd 3: Sl st with White yarn, Ch 2(counts as a hdc), hdc in the same stitch, work 2 hdc in each dc around, sl st on top of the Chain 2. -40 hdc
Rnd 4: Sl st with Green yarn, Ch 2(counts as a hdc), hdc in the same stitch, hdc in the next hdc, *work 2 hdc in the next, hdc in the next, *Repeat around, sl st -60 hdc, Fasten off, Weave in the ends.
With your yarn needle, make about 12 black 1/2 inch black dash lines in the red part of the watermelon coaster.
