I have crocheted all my life, but I am not familiar with the sizes of your hooks. I see you have a 2.1 hook. Does that compare with a size 7 or 8 ?

  2. Sharon says:

Recently became disabled and have chosen to try crochet as a hobby. To maybe be able to make things for my grandbabies.

  3. Kalah Byman says:

This pattern tells me nothing about size. What is the diameter of your finished doily using the 2.1 hook? I need a 22-24 inch doily and have no idea looking at this pattern how to achieve that.

  4. Spinnin Jenny says:

Did I miss what kind of yarn or thread to use?

For those wondering, this hook is a steel hook. Not as small as a 14, but not as huge as a 00.

  5. amray2007 says:

yes its a steel hook, 2.1 Size hook, for a bigger Doily, use a bigger hook

I used red heart Thread yarn, size 3.

  6. Baker says:

This pattern has several mistakes and is EXTREMLY confusing. Please review and fix. I also don’t understand what you mean by “previous st”.

  7. amray2007 says:

I did look back at the pattern, I only saw two counts at the end that were wrong, but the pattern turned out fine. Previous just mean, the round before that you were working on. I may make a video on this one to make it more clear, hope it helps. Part I

    Part II

    Part III

    Part IIII

  8. amray2007 says:

I deleted them, because I was getting complaints it was too fast, etc.. I wont be doing another one either because it was to long to do, sorry

  9. Fran says:

Up until Rnd 8 I see * repeat in each round. Then rnds 9, 10, and 11 don’t have the * repeat. Since it’s a circle I’m guessing we’re supposed to assume it should be there?

  10. Roberta Vallo says:

I have made a couple of dollies from the patterns that you provided but I’m getting stuck on one, the scalloped doily. On round 3 at the end in parentheses it says 6sc rings, does that mean i should have 6 sc rings. Because i end up with 9 ch 4’s. Could you please help me. Thanks

  11. amray2007 says:

you are welcome, I just made a video on this one, if you wait until tonight I will post in on this pattern.

  12. Roberta Vallo says:

Yes, i noticed that also. I actually had to start over several times but the video did help with round 4 & 5. Just watched it. Again thanks.
