Also on the 7th row where it says next three stitches? Please help because I love your hat. Thank you.

I have a question for you. I’m looking for a crochet pattern for a long oval shape doilie for a oval shape coffee table. The ones I have seen are to small for my table. The size of my coffee table is 42 3/4″ long & 23 3/4″ wide. I’m looking for a pattern to make a doilie for this table and the end tables too. The end tables are 23 3/4″ long and 21″ wide. Would like to have a pattern to crochet and to match. I’m just starting to get into crocheting and its good for relaxing and also for arthritis. I like your website.

Thank you for your patterns! I found your children’s Puff Stitch Hat on allfreecrochet.com but the link no longer works. Is this pattern still available?

Being a beginner, I found this pattern very well written and easy to follow…and the video tutorials were excellent! A friend saw the hat that I made for my daughter and has requested one for her niece. Please help! :)

  7. amray2007 says:

sorry I did delete the hat because it came out to small, maybe in the future, I may redo the hat.

  8. Dianne says:

Thank you so much for posting the puff stitch hat again! 😀

I must have done something wrong with the pattern, or used the wrong yarn, initially as the first one I made, following instructions for the 3-10 yr old size, came out big enough for an adult! All was well as I ended up keeping it for myself and then created another one for my daughter. She thinks it’s funny that we both have the same hat! haha!

Thanks again for your great patterns and tutorial videos. It has been a great learning tool for this beginner. :)

which one, the one with the pattern, I think is done in caron soft. And the one you have to pay for, is done in 4 ply.

  15. amray2007 says:

I dont have one like that, I would do a google search. I did have a crochet directory but took it down.

  16. amray2007 says:

Follow the pattern as it is, the pattern is for a woman’s size with a J hook. The hat fit me nicely!

Hi, I made the Spring Baby blanket from your pattern. It turned out really nice. Several people have asked for the pattern, but when I clicked on the pattern to get the url, it says page can’t be found. I would love to share your pattern with others, but I can’t link back to you with it. Would I be violating any copywrite laws if I told them how to make the blanket? I don’t want to get myself in trouble by doing so without permission. Thanks

  18. amray2007 says:

I must of accidentally deleted the spring blanket, ugh, can you email me the blanket pattern, and I can re post it, I would appreciate it so much!, amray767@yahoo.com, or you can comment the pattern on here too, I can re post it and you can get it from here, that would be great!

  19. Sue says:

I can’t find it in my files, so I’ll have to type it out again. I’ll email it to you when I get it typed out.

  20. Sue says:

Please let me know if you got my email. If it isn’t in your inbox, it may have gone to your spam/junk folder.

YW. glad I had it printed out before my printer/scanner decided to go haywire. I’d like to share the link with some of my friends in other crochet groups if that is ok.

  22. Sue says:

Hello!! I’m looking for a crochet pattern for eyes & hearts together. There’s a theme for a local church and I’m looking for something that has a pair of eyes and a heart attached. The theme for are looking at is “Open The Eyes of My Heart Lord”. I’m looking for a pattern where I could crochet both together or separately and then I could maybe attach them. If you can help me I would appreciate it. Thank you!!!

  27. Karen says:

Thank you so much for the link. My daughter-in-law will love them when I finish them. Quite a long time ago she e-mailed me the photo of the crocodile booties & slippers. I think it may have been a hint.

  28. amray2007 says:

Not that Im seeing, Unless Im missing something, remember on Row 2, its 2sctog twice in the beginning and end. Row 1: chain 35, work a dc in the 3rd chain from the hook, dc in each ch across, Turn -33 dc

Row 2: Ch 1, 2dctog decrease twice, dc in the next 25 dc across, 2dctog decrease twice, Turn -29

  29. amray2007 says:

I’m sorry its not my pattern and it looks confusing. I would ask the designer questions if you are stuck.

  30. Kristen says:

So I tried your pattern crochet ruffle sashay scarf. I am confused. The first ruffle looks like there are a total of 11 loops on the hook, but the rest of the instructions look like a total of 10 loops on the hook. Can you please give me the details as to how many total loops should be on my hook? Thank you.

  31. amray2007 says:

I re watched the video, It’s supposed to be 10 loops on the hook and pull through with that first loop, But there is no right or wrong, if you want to do 11 loops or less thats fine too.

    Hi Amy
I have a question about the tooth fairy pillow as I think I am over thinking this. When it says go to the top where exactly do you go to. I always read through patterns first before I try and this just isn’t making sense on where to go to me.

Looking for your Crocodile Stitch Booties pattern for 3-6 and 6-12 months. Please and Thank You! 😀

  34. Jilu Blesson says:

Hi, i am new to crocheting.Learnt to make simple coasters, baby booties…i have no idea what type of yarn i should use for different items. 8 ply acrylic, acrylic nylon blend, acrylic wool blend,4 ply cotton,100% wool are available in the nearby craft shop.confused which yarn to choose.can you please help.

  35. amray2007 says:

most patterns will tell you which kind of yarn to use. Coasters are usually cotton. Booties are usually like a standard 4 ply but it depends how thick or thin you want it. I would follow what the pattern calls for. Also Doilies are usually thread yarn.

  36. Brenda Coleman says:

Great tutorial for petal doily. I used a larger hook but still not very big.
I was wondering if you might have a pattern for larger doily and also,
a rectangular one . Looking for patterns using thread.

  37. Chrissia Uson says:

    Hello Ma’am,
I just want to ask if you deleted the ripple crochet pattern? I will use the pattern in a competition and I need the source. Is it okay if you’ll bring it back? Thank you.

  38. amray2007 says:

yes the count was done wrong, I think its a count of 20 plus 1, so I think the count is off but you can use this one I had up, Chain 251

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from the hook. 1 sc in each of the next 8 ch, * 3 sc in next ch, 1 sc in each of next 9 ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in each of next 9 ch, repeat from * to last 10 ch, work 3 sc in next ch, 1 sc in each of next 9 ch, ch 1, turn.

Row 2. Skip 1 sc, 1 sc in back loop of each of next 9 sc, *3 sc in back loop of next sc, 1 sc in back loop of each of next 9 sc, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in back loop of each of next 9 sc, repeat from *across, end 3 sc in back loop of next sc, 1 sc in back loop of each of next 9 sc, leaving last stitch unworked, ch 1, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for pattern working 6 more rows with Color A, work off last sc with Color B. Repeat Row 2 working stripes of 8 rows each Colors B, C & A. Working until there are 21 stripes. Fasten off.

I dont think I have baby bloomers, it may be a just a link I added to advertise for another crocheter. I would look under the baby section on top.
